Not really, I never got baptized because of possible end but because I thought I was becoming a part of something far greater, as it turned out I expected too much in that regard.

As far as the end is concerned, the way the world is going at the moment I think we won't need divine intervention of any sort to make ourselves redundant on this planet, we will do it to ourselves, no need for god.

Thanks for that, it is actually a pretty good summary. Not that is of any practical use but he manages to pinpoint two core issues of differentiation and integration. It would be good if todays kids really saw real beauty of Calculus and mathematics in general. Unfortunately, these days everyone wants to be in marketing, advertising and management, i.e. lost of talking and no substance. I'm just wondering what they are going to be talking about when in some 20-30 years, if not sooner, all smart products start coming from India and China. Interesting how world's scene is changing and with it balance of power.

huh, can't believe it momzcrazy, I was just watching that same video on youtube, must have been telepathy ;)

I know I love them too, they are few of rock bands I still listen to. Most modern music these days has lost its elegance and romance which is why I'm still stuck in 80's

Open Relationships, and Society's Cultural Unwritten Boundaries

i'm a anarchist basically with a ever widening opening mind.

and i believe in them i don't beleive that either sex should dominate over the other .

on the grounds that every one is master over thier own body, and so to demand loyalty in the use of anothers body seems wrong.

Very well said frankiespeakin. Mind if I ask you, how would you feel about female president of US of A? I guess that is where it really shows how liberal we are or are not.

For an "open relationship" to work people need to be particularly open-minded first and foremost. Which means, no jealousy, in fact you enjoy yourself seeing your partner getting sexually fulfilled by someone else. What does this have with female president? Whole lot actually, how do we look at female figure leading in any setting. What I find somewhat surprising is that many ladies in "open relationships" got lured into the idea by husbands wanting to "explore". According to my friend who is into swing scene very few ladies initiate the first step. Mostly husbands do it, according to him 80% and then in order to do someone else's wife they have to "become open minded" in process.

Giggle factor aside, lately I'm finding lots of references about great flood from antiquity in both Roman and Egyptian literary works, not to mention Babylonian. It seems that great flood of Black Sea at the end of last ice age must have had quite some impact on surrounding nomads of that time.
